iHEA 2011: FHS talks quality

The FHS team will have a strong presence at the 8th Annual World Congress on Health Economics. In addition to convening two sessions, FHS members will be giving individual presentations and posters. We will be blogging and tweeting from Toronto for those who'd like to follow along.

FHS convened sessions

Access to health services is necessary but not sufficient to strengthen health systems – quality care is critical. Ensuring quality where there is inequality requires the skillful combination of commodities with knowledge. Using both economic and ethical lenses, two panels convened by FHS at the iHEA conference will present findings on how both supply side and demand side factors can be altered to improve quality of care.
